I have always thought Art Center was way out of my league, not only skill wise but financially too. Therefore, I would usually disregard it when considering which schools I should look into for transfer. When first walking in through the main entrance, I saw exactly what I expected, amazing and professional looking work. It was like I walked into a museum. But, as I said, this was no surprise to me; I knew the work would be above and beyond.

Vision218 is visualizing the importance of our community! That's why we're going green! In sense that we're taking the initiative to recycle our plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Hopefully, if all things go well, Vision218 will have its own schnazzy recycling box, the semi-legit one. Hopefully. Its all mash potatoes and wonderful gravy helping the environment, creating millions of jobs and what not, but honestly, its money that we'll be getting back! Anyway, I found this one website that incorporates design and recycling. http://www.superuse.org/ It's pretty neat. It's 'an online community of designers, architects and everybody else who is interested in inventive ways of recycling,' so saving the planet and your wallet doesn't have to end at water bottles and coke cans. The website consists of innovative and sometimes wacky ways of recycling all different types of items, like turning your outdated Apple Macintosh into a useful aquarium. Check it out!
